Dropping the pen that was in his hand gently to the side of the papers that lay in front of him, dark eyes turned to look at the doors. ”Send her in.” With a single sentence, no more than three words, the guard responded immediately and with quickening pace. Opening the heavy doors with a sudden tug, they parted slowly, sliding outwards to reveal the sunbathed room that was the king’s personal chamber. The chamber was an overly spacious affair, with an unnecessary amount of space that was left empty on the way to a desk at the other end that seemed tiny by comparison. Behind the desk, at either sides of a large stained glass window of dazzling colours, rested an encyclopedic collection of books, all sitting on top of bookshelves that literally lined the walls from top to bottom. The fantastic warm light of the sun pierced through the large stained glass window, painting the large, spacious chamber in a kaleidoscope of colours. The melody of colours fell on the form of the king, the man at the top of the country and shone a radiant rainbow over him, illuminating his form with the dusk’s soft glow and giving him a pleasant aura, despite the stern, sharp expression across his features. Leaning back in the large high back chair he was in, Lukas’ leaned over on one arm, his elbow placed lazily on the arm rest at his side. As his visitor entered the room, a small smirk pulled at his features, one that held a far sinister and hidden meaning than it showed to the daughter he had summoned. ”I am so glad you are able to grace me with your presence, Ari, especially given how busy you are running around everywhere these days.”
