For the first time in a long time... Neo Domino fell silent.
That was the first sign that something was wrong. Neo Domino was never quiet. The place did not even know the meaning of the word, let alone how to be it. And yet it was as silent and still as a grave. The Duel Runners had gone quiet and the city had been brought to a stand-still.
The second sign came an entire generation ahead of this. Children went missing from the dorms... and the Abandoned Dorm was filled with students. Not just any students, though, they were filled with the missing ones, and while this was ordinarily cause for alarm, what happened after that was far more disconcerning. Paths were made in the forest and on them ran motorcycles the likes of which had never been seen before.
The third sign came yet another generation earlier. A harsh flood along the Nile River tore through the banks, revealing a stash of hidden tablets and a nameless tomb filled with gold and silver treasures. Only a small fraction of these treasures, only seven gold, were recovered before strange people cloaked in white came and shut the sites down. It was an archeological find, they proclaimed, and it must be protected for others. No one protested.
Or at least, until now. The Avengers of Light have taken over this world, and we, the duelists of Darksiders, are the only ones with the power to stop them. Will you join the side of justice or will you follow the path of sacrifice? Will you reveal yourself as an Avenger of the Light or will you become... a Darksider?
