APPEARANCE | Zendelrin stands at a rather unimpressive height of 5’3, certainly not at all intimidating and occasionally even mistaken for a woman due to his slight muscle structure. His build is reminiscent of a swimmer’s physique, gently toned muscles and sharply defined hips; he may look gangly if nothing else. The length of his hair is often what causes confusion. Black as night and nearly as long as he is tall, Zendelrin hasn’t done much of anything with his hair in the longest time. Typically it would have been trimmed by someone else but in recent years there has been no one to tend to the mass and it has simply grown to hand around him in a velvety curtain to contrast with his deathly pale skin.
Protruding out from his head are not two, but five horns of varying lengths and thickness. There is one on either side of with a mild resemblance to a goat while a third springs from the center of his forehead, and another set further behind the largest ones near the back of his skull. The tips are possibly the only things that he religiously cares for and does go out of his way to sharpen or shorten the length as they grow continuously.
He has a staunch dislike for clothing however societal rules demand that he wear some for of covering so Zendelrin has begrudgingly complied. Although, he only goes as far as the bare minimum if he can get away with it. Generally he’ll reluctantly don a pair of worn slacks that look as though a wild dog got them and that they’ve been repaired multiple times. He also wears what might be considered pauldrons if it weren’t for the fact that they are made of feathers and are hardly protective. Like his hair they too are black, varying lengths and are connected around his back in a pseudo-cape that goes only to the end of his shoulder blades.
Jewelry and accessories are enjoyed. Around his neck rests his favorite piece, a necklace of tear drop shaped ivory slabs nearly as wide as his palm. He adorns various other beaded items and a torque on his left shoulder.
Being that he is the cousin of Oster and that he and his sibling are distantly related to the royals, Zendelrin bears a royal mark in the form of an Ouroboros around his throat.
PERSONALITY | Zendelrin exemplifies the near fanatical derision showcased by those opposed to interracial procreation. Neither Sisk nor Human, the man is a mottled combination of two radically diverse groups and their coming together has produced a twisted creature few would willingly associate with had they the option to forgo an encounter. Zendelrin is, in no uncertain terms, psychotic. He hasn’t been coined so as a means to demoralize or alienate the man but as a warning to others. Zendelrin is truly mad. Granted the degree of his psychosis varies from day to day life but the sense of unhinged mentality is blatantly clear nevertheless.[/style][style=padding: 10px; -moz-border-radius: 0px 0px 15px 15px; border-radius: 0px 0px 15px 15px;]
The Halflings lucidity is a questionable thing. Of his three known personages only two of them display some semblance of cogent thinking and even then the level to which this applies is rather touch and go. Generally speaking the man is ill-equipped to make vital decisions on his own behalf due to the fact that his manner of understanding is so heavily flawed. Outside of reasonable or occasionally irrational fears, he is hazardously willing to endanger himself for the pursuit of a new distraction which thus leads to self harm or injury to anyone in the vicinity of him.
In terms of mindset Zendelrin has three very distinct personas, the first being something comparable to a child. While it is still abundantly clear that he is at all right in the head, he takes on a gamely, boisterous personage that can either be endearing or disconcerting. It is during such times when he is the most receptive to social activities and exhibits an intense need to have his attention occupied. Much like a child it is his prerogative to play, everything in his immediate surroundings becomes a faculty to that end whether it is animate or not is hardly a deterrent.
When not searching for a playmate he’s pestering anyone who crosses his path. He is obnoxiously inquisitive, clingy and utterly dependent on people but is also easily placated and reasonably compliant, enough so that he can be put to work at the very least.
He also has a worrying fascination with the occult; anything macabre in nature is an active fixation for him. That said, blood, gore, and decay are relevant focuses for him and his inner sadist becomes threateningly obvious. He is not above kidnapping some poor unfortunate soul, flaying their flesh and torturing them. It's all a game in his eyes.
His second mode is a demeanor that is not often seen, mildly better than the most prevalent state of insanity but not by much. Had he not suffered from his mental illness this would likely be how Zendelrin would have conducted himself, reserved, modest and admittedly very insightful. There is clear depth in his thought process and typically he is level-headed enough to contribute useful bits of information to a conversation. It is only during this time when he is able to think, that he laments his disabilities. He is strangely subdued, if not outright depressed most times and seemingly suicidal.
The last and frankly most dangerous condition is a state where his delusions get the better of him. Zendelrin has never been emotionally stable as rule but he has the tendency to fly into unpredictable bouts of hysterics that range from intense grief or uncontrollable fury. Scenarios that would invoke a specific pattern of thought is out of his reach and achieving even ones that prevent him from doing anything drastic are hard to come by. His thought process is entirely, horribly skewed and feed into the many symptoms of his poor health. Zendelrin finds himself in a constant state of paranoia and fear – albeit he has good enough reason to be terrified usually it hinders him to an almost fatal extent. Suffering from frequent hallucinations and voices in his head telling him to do things, he can barely differentiate between what is reality and what is merely a projection of his fragmented mind, demonic influence and occasional whiplash of unstable powers. Interacting with his environment usually results in him cowering somewhere that he presumes to be safe or violently reacting to whatever is his present fixation and doing everything in his power to destroy it.
