[cs=2][atrb=style,width:312; padding-top: 5;] FRIENDS Klaus is nicely composed and he's one of those over-protective types that honestly say what they mean. You know. The grand total of three times they actually say things. Even then, he isn't quite a good "friend" to royalty—not if you're expecting that he do more than stand there, make some pretty laughable faces when irritated ENEMIES As much as he views it as a duty to grind anyone he terms a real threat into dust under his feet, Klaus doesn't try and make enemies. He isn't interested in revenge or things that are largely outside his control, and likes to behave well so that people feel no great urge to get in his way to begin with. He has corrected what others might call "his betters" in the past, and I would say he has an invariably poor opinion of the royalty thanks to . . . being within a foot of them ever, but is otherwise tolerant. Disliked or not, he moves on. ROMANCE He's, surprisingly, a little in love with love. More the idea than the actual act, which causes its own problems. Namely: he seems to get friendship and love hopelessly confused, having neither in his life. The type who's very quick to lifelong loyalty, it's simple to misinterpret whatever he thinks and he's almost never sure himself. He tends towards too much blushing, being overtly kind and thoughtful with most people who deserve it, and is courtly by nature even when he's feeling the same as always. Since he usually feels no urgency for or interest in others, all his signals are mixed. (It could be funny to watch though, considering he's prone to comically missing the point.) He does canonically have timid feelings for the prince, but I don't see him as differentiating much between men and women. OTHER I dunno, while solidly a nice guy type, he's still one of my more extreme characters. He isn't above doing heinous acts as part of his position as Guardian, and he certainly won't let kindness get in the way of sound judgment or a sinister order—just might not like it, although he won't say so. Joining the resistance works fine with how I want to develop him, but I imagine him leaving. Hmm, it would be fun to have him get caught up with a ragtag adventure group—why not become a mercenary who helps the needy effected by the caste system or confused Earth!people. Any past family might be interesting because he has no idea who the hell they are, so: meeting long lost sister or brother plot go? Or even surrogate family roles, since he's never had one and it might be cute to see. All and all, open to anything, so if you have an idea feel free to ask. |
